The original HomePod is now sold out online and in Apple Stores nationwide
After a period of tight stock, the original White and Space Gray HomePod models are now sold out and no longer available online or in Apple Stores in the US and Canada.
After shutting down in March 2021, the original HomePod was officially listed by Apple as available only while supplies last. The space gray edition quickly sold out, but the white has remained available until now.
In the United States and Canada, HomePod is still listed on Apple’s online store and there is still a “Buy” button. However, both models are now out of stock online and cannot be picked up at any store.
Overseas, Apple’s online stores in Japan, France and Germany list HomePod as “availability reserved” or “subject to availability.” However, they also removed the “Buy” button.
Apple Ireland only lists the HomePod mini and Apple Italy does not list any HomePod models. Right now, the UK appears to be one of the few, if not the only, online Apple Stores with stock.
UK listings show the white model as an outline sold, but available for store pickup. The space gray version has fewer in-store pickup options, but still shows two-day delivery for online orders.
Although it was officially discontinued in March 2021, the HomePod unexpectedly received a new audio feature when the revised Apple TV 4K released in May. The HomePod, and in particular the HomePod mini, can be used in a stereo pair to listen to audio relayed through Apple TV 4K from any connected device.
